The City of Burley, Idaho is recruiting for the following positions: Fire Chief Salary range $60,000 to $68,000+ DOQ, Experience as a Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, Captain, or other officer in desired. Five years of progressively responsible paid, full-time employment in a position providing managerial and administrative experience in a fire department or fire control agency and substantial multi-divisional NIMS compliant incident command experience on major incidents. Electrical Utility Director Salary range - $75,000-$81,000 DOQ To plan, organize direct and review the activities and operations of the Electric Utility department including administrative functions, services to customers, distribution and power supply. To coordinate assigned activities with other city departments and outside agencies (BPA, NRU, UAMPS, ICUA) and to provide supervision of the entire department.
Plan, organize, direct and evaluate electrical generation, transmission and distribution systems and the construction, maintenance, and operation of City electrical facilities; ensure the Electric Utility Department is safe, reliable, and managed in an economical and efficient manner.
Wastewater Plant Operator 3
Salary range - $36,775 to $41,018+ DOQ
Performs a variety of highly skilled technical work in the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment facility. Typical assignments include operation, inspection, adjustment, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of equipment typical of a modern waste-water treatment facility. Responsible for following standard procedures for accurate process control and laboratory testing, with emphasis on maintaining compliance with established water quality standards through the effective operation of all equipment involved in the waste-water treatment process.
